Eric teaches in person at a studio in near Sugar Land, in Houston (the Galleria area), Texas.
New students of all ages quickly find themselves at ease with Eric’s relaxed, non-intimidating manner. The lessons are fun and very effective. Within the first couple of minutes, Eric presents the approach and begins the voice training process. Friends/family who come along with the singer can watch the lesson, or sit in the waiting room.
Students will experience greater range and vocal ease as they vocalize through the first few exercises. By the end of the lesson, they've already experienced singing better than they ever thought they would.
Students who come to Eric from other teachers in the very first lesson typically feel two things. First, excitement that they find that they have way more vocal range, power and comfortability than they had been shown before. Second, they feel a bit annoyed that they'd spent all of that time and money on lessons that never introduced them to such a practical, effective, fast way to learn to improve their singing.
In-Studio Students bring a blank CD to each lesson so Eric can make a personal vocal workout recording. This enables students to have an up-to-date vocal workout for practice between lessons. Sing along with the recording at home or in the car to properly apply the techniques.
Students notice their voices getting stronger and more relaxed as they sing through the lesson recordings each day. It really is that easy!
It is Eric’s goal to work himself out of a job by striving to teach students to be their own best teacher. In other words, he wants his students to quickly identify their own unique vocal struggles and apply the right solution to rebalance their voices.
